Tom Brady had a cryptic message about officiating after Bucs loss to Rams

Tom Brady had a cryptic message about officiating after Bucs loss to Rams.

Nobody knows terrible referee calls better than Tom Brady.

And nobody wants to know more about his opinions about said calls than Buccaneers fans who are mourning a shocking loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Unfortunately, it appears as though Brady is playing it safe when it comes to his thoughts on the referees from Sunday’s game … for the most part.

According to Buccaneers staff writer, Carmen Vitali, Brady is being cautious with what he says for fear of retaliation from the league.

“I’d probably get fined if I say anything,” Brady said after the game.

Tom Brady takes the high road when it comes to trash-talking the referees on Sunday

It was a wild one for the Buccaneers and the referees certainly didn’t do the team, and Brady any favors. Brady was flagged for the first unsportsmanlike conduct penalty of his 20-year career after arguing about getting hit in the head (his lip split open on the hit so he kind of had a point). The refs called a dead ball foul after Mike Evans took a helmet-to-helmet hit that would have extended the Bucs drive late in the game, another blunder from the referees. And Ndamukong Suh was flagged for taunting when he yelled at Matthew Stafford after it looked like Stafford kicked him after a hit. It was a mess and the Buccaneers were the ones getting slimed.

Needless to say, Brady probably had plenty of not nice things to say about them and we don’t exactly blame him.

Sometimes it’s what you don’t say that can speak volumes.
